My Reading Challenge Check-in
At the beginning of every year, I set a reading challenge for myself on Goodreads. The past few years, I kept it at 5, which I know isn't much, but it's 5 more than I did a few years prior. This year, I decided to up it to 7, and so far, so good. I've read 5 out of 7 — a few easy reads and a couple that required a little more brainpower to understand and properly reflect on. I actually finished the last one a few months ago, so I'm due for another one.
Given the fact that I've wanted to do some purging around the apartment, I'm leaning towards The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up.
I've heard excellent things about this book, not to mention, it's been sitting on my shelf waiting for me to read it. Haha. I mean, really, I just need some inspiration to clean and keep it clean.
After that one, who knows? I like easy, happy reads, but I also like nonfiction ones like Year of Yes and Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking. Any suggestions or recommendations?
