Next Stop: Minnesota

It is that time of the year again. Time to head back to Minnesota for catalog printing!

I am pretty happy to have company this time around. My colleague will be joining me for this trip, so she can get quick training on the process. She'll be taking my place next month since I'll be headed back home for one of my best friend's weddings.

While I'm not looking forward to wake-up calls at 3am, I am looking forward to a few things:

Being out of the office

Let's face it, even if I'm on a work trip, it's nice to have working days out of the office.

Being out of California

Don't get me wrong, I enjoying living in Northern California, but it's nice to leave sometimes. Last year when I made this trip, I remember thinking about how crazy it was that I forgot that it wasn't the entire U.S. that was going through a drought. We went from flying over the obvious drought conditions of California to the lush, green land of Minnesota. It was beautiful.

The People

Minnesotans are so friendly!

Caribou Coffee

It may not be PSL season yet, but I always look forward to picking up coffee from Caribou. I'll probably bring some back, too.

the Catalog printing

This year, I was blessed with the opportunity to design the product catalogs for work, and I am so excited that I'll be able to see it come to life. I'm also slightly anxious, but I'm trying not to let it get to me. Haha.

Anyway, safe travel wishes are welcome!
