The end of May marked the start of car show season here in Northern California.
For those of you who are new to my blog/life, my boyfriend, Melvin, is an automotive enthusiast, so this is prime time for him. He drove us up to The Fairmont in San Francisco where the California Mille 2015 was being held.
While I appreciate the design and heritage of classic cars, I won't pretend like I know anything about them. When I go to these shows, I take pictures—mainly of typography because, well, I'm a graphic designer. It comes with the territory. Most of the time there are too many people around to get a good shot of the whole car anyway, so I default to close-up shots. I'll post the typography shots some other time.
Anyway, here's the first of a few of these posts I'll probably be sharing this year.
