Sick Days

Hi, it's me!

Bright Side Jessica. Back after a period of silence... or rather sickness. After getting back from San Diego, I fell victim to a pretty bad cold that, unfortunately, hasn't gone away. On the bright side though, I a) went to see a doctor and found that it is nothing more than an elongated cold and b) finally established a doctor here in the Bay Area. Haha. Only took me 6 1/2 years for that second part.

Anyway, I've been holed up here at home with a box of tissues as my best friend. This definitely hasn't been the brightest week for me. I had to work pretty hard to keep my mental peace intact, but it was tough since I felt so fatigued and didn't feel up to doing anything. Not even knitting! But now that I'm finally seeing some recovery progress, here I am updating you all on my life and sharing some of favorite things when I'm sick.

My first aid kit for colds includes:

  • Nature Made Vitamin C Pills

  • Halls Defense Cough Drops

  • Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup

  • Throat Coat Lemon Echinacea Tea

  • Vicks VapoRub

  • Vaseline

  • Kleenex

  • Water

  • Fruits

What's in your arsenal for when colds hit? Anything you can recommend to help me get to full health? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
