As some of you know, I went to a conference last month in LA, and one of the nights I was there, I had dinner with my friends at Bottega Louie, a "Restaurant, Gourmet Market, Patisserie and Café". I recommend the Shrimp Scampi. It's pricey, but delicious!
ANYWAY... after dinner, we looked around at what they had in the market area, and I wanted to buy EVERYTHING. All their packaged goods looked so pretty! Gold and silver foil stamping on boxes, beautiful labels, etc... In the end, I "settled" for a gorgeous box of 5 macarons, but I'll admit I wanted the box more than the macarons. Haha. Don't get me wrong, they were fantastic, but I'm a designerd so... priorities.
Can you relate? Buy anything for its packaging recently? I'd like to hear about these pretty packages in the comments below! Or feel free to share a link or two of some of your favorite package designs!
Also, speaking of packages and packaging, I need to start packing for my trip to San Diego this weekend with the company I work for! Weeeee!
Live on the Bright Side! It's Friday!
