It was a beautifully gloomy morning in San Francisco when my boyfriend and I met up with a few of our friends for brunch at Blackwood in the Marina District. We spent a full four and a half hours eating either French toast or stone pots and discussing random things while sipping our bottomless mimosas.
At one point during our outing, I thought of a part of the introduction to the book I'm currently reading called Blog Inc. by Joy Cho of Oh Joy! I specifically recalled the aspect of community and having a safe haven of people around you who care about you and share your interests. In that moment, I smiled to myself and realized that I have that. I have people near (and far) who provide me with support, encouragement, and a safe place to share my thoughts. That is more than I could ask for as I start my blogging journey.
To my family, friends, and additional readers, please accept my heartfelt "Thank you." Your support and encouragement is greatly appreciated.
